Review Policy

I read and review books of all kinds of genre, especially crime, thriller, mystery, urban fantasy, paranormal, young adult fiction, autobiographies, travel and other non-fiction books. I am also open to reading books of genres not mentioned here. On occasion, I also read and review books for babies & toddlers.
The books I read come from various sources. Often they are books I’ve bought myself, but sometimes they are books provided by publishers or authors for review.
Books sent to me specifically for a review will always be read before non-review books. However, if you would like a book or book-related product reviewed by a certain date, please let me know so I can schedule it appropriately.
My reviews are honest and are my opinion only.
My reviews are always posted here and on GoodReads.com (and linked to from Twitter and Facebook). I will also often post my reviews on Amazon UK and Dooyoo.
I accept hardback, paperback and Kindle books. However, do to work-load I am not currently accepting self-published books.

I love tour site, just read your review for the Emerald Atlas, it’s great, I agree with you about the US jacket too.
I work in PR for children’s books and I work with Jonathan Stroud – have you read any of his books?I think they might be up your street, funny, urban, fantasy. Would you like me to send you a copy? I also might pop in Theresa Breslin’s latest novel, Prisoner of the Inquisition, as it’s one of my favourite books to be published in the past few years.
