Notes of Life

 I’m still pretty tired at the moment, but I managed to drag myself out of the house after work early in the week and go for a short walk (I’m usually not good for much after work these days). As always, my camera came with me and I think I managed to get some interesting shots (the above picture being one of them).

Due to being either tired, ill or busy, I haven’t had much time for photography so far this year. However, I’ve just treated myself to a new camera (I upgraded to a Canon 60D SLR from my old Canon 350D SLR), so I’m looking forward to having a good play with it.

The weather was lovely last weekend, so I took Mum for a drive around the south Shropshire hills (where she grew up). We also ended up in Ludlow for a bite to eat, so while we were there we decided to take a look around the castle too.

I love that area of the country and it’s less than an hour’s drive away, so not quite on the doorstep but not too far away.
