Pink Roses

I can’t take credit for growing these roses, I just bought them (along with a pot of white roses and a pot of red roses) when I took Granddad to the flower market in Craven Arms this past weekend.
Just as this new rose bud is starting to flower, our family will soon be having a beautiful new addition of it’s own. My neice/nephew is due in the next few weeks!
It’s funny to see these autumn plants flowering while the trees shed their leaves in droves.

There are yellow roses blooming outside my living room window, as the leaves on the trees turn lovely shades of amber & orange.

Those photos are beautiful. The colours are gorgeous – the contrast and the highlights really reflect the delicate nature of the flowers. I miss autumn – in the Philippines we get two seasons – wet and dry, and right now we’re in the middle of the wet season.
