Raindrops on a white flower

Waterdrops on a white flower

Forgive me, I haven’t a clue what flower this beautiful white & pink flower is. As I thought the rain had stopped, I grabbed my Canon 350D with it’s 60mm Macro lens and dashed out to take some photos of the raindrops on the flowers. Only, as I stepped outside and closed the door behind me, I realised it was still raining and seemed to be getting heavier! So I didn’t take many photos before rushing back indoors.

You only needed the one shot: this is exceptionally beautiful! Sometimes, we work best when we’re rushed.

Dropped by from Tanya’s to thank you for once again sharing such extraordinary views of the world.

Beautiful pic.
Dew drops on flowers and leaves are a beautiful sight.

Looks like a hibiscus to me. But I can’t really tell unless I saw the whole plant

Gorgeous flower and fantastic job on the waterdrops :-) I was going to say it looks like either a hibiscus (if it’s large) or something else (the name escapes me) if it grows on a tall stock. I’ve got some in my yard.

isn’t it lavatera? various shades of pink on long things (technical horticultural term) like foxgloves? Lovely pic

I’ll settle for Hibiscus or Lavatera – whatever, a super crystal clear photograph.
