The Circus

On Saturday I went to The Circus… The Take That Circus at Wembley Stadium! What can I say? They were fantastic! Their best tour yet (I say that every time and yet each time it’s so true), but they’re still promising to come back and do more.
This tour was based around their current album, The Circus
With a second stage in the middle of the stadium, as well as the main stage and a walkway joining the two, nobody missed out. The show included the old classics (from the first time around) and new, and even the old dance routines crept in at times! As per usual, the crowd went absolutely mad when the boys (sorry… men!) were on stage… screaming, and singing & dancing along with them.
Those stood by the second stage probably wished they’d brough raincoats and umbrellas, despite it being a hot day. When Take That anounced they’d be singing their best song from the 90s (Back For Good), the waterworks started and I’m sure a number of rows around the second stage got a soaking! (For those not in the know… Take That’s Back For Good video featured a lot of rain and so in their recent tours they’ve been replicating this on).
They truely did put on one hell of a show and I can’t wait to see it all again when it comes out on DVD.
