Lonely Frosty Tree
Written by Nikki-ann on Tuesday, 6 January , 2009 at 7:59 pm
The frost has gone now, but it has been replaced with snow… Only a little bit though. The snow arrived in the early hours on Monday morning, we haven’t had any since but it’s been so cold that the snow is still here. It was -10°c this morning, which is pretty cold for Mid Wales.

I like this one best of all, Nikki. The affect of the wind on the branch and trunk development makes it almost look like an underwater plant undulating with the currents of the water.

I’m surprised it’s as cold there as here. It’s nice you have a coating of snow but not enough to cause problems. I do hope it warms up though!

This photo would look lovely framed and mounted on a wall. What a stunningly composed example of life.

This series is beautiful, thanks for posting them. I’m having a very pleasant meander through your Flickr right now as I can’t get enough of UK scenery (or the Firefly crew for that matter!).
