Dandelion Close-up

This week’s Thematic Photographic theme is Round. I think the head of a Dandelion is round, don’t you? Last week’s theme was Floral, so it kind of fits in with that too!

Buzzing Around The Garden

Written by Nikki-ann on Saturday, 18 April , 2009 at 3:29 pm

Bee on Plant

Please don’t ask me what this plant is (and if you do know then please tell me!). It’s Mum’s garden and she thinks it could be a weed or something relating to the nettle family, but isn’t sure. Whatever it is, the bees seem to like it!

There were 2 bees buzzing around the garden this afternoon while I was out there with my camera. I always wonder what somebody would think if they saw me taking photos in the garden sometimes. Why? Well, when the bees (and wasps!) are about, I get a little nervous (having been stung by a wasp as a kid) and start dodging them or freezing to the spot. I can’t help it, but it must look quite funny!
